Role based Security Permissions

Several staff within a company or external contractors can log in with their own details to work through their allocated tasks, projects and appointments all done within stringent role based security measures. i.e. staff only see what you allow them to see and what is relevant to their role.

The security works on a sophisticated Role Based Security System (RBS). You are able to customise the system with a series of security groups. Each user that is to access the system belongs to a specific group or a series of groups. These groups determine if the user has read or write access to certain pages, documents and modules within the system. As an example think of John as the Administrator and Jane as a Staff Member. John can determine what access Staff Members have to the system, which includes Jane. John decides that Staff Members cannot access the Project Manager (PM), he would simply choose "Edit Page Permissions" find the files relating to the PM and then click the files to deselect the "Staff" group in the list. The security management page provides the top level access to Zulu's sophisticated security system.
